Kelly and Craig Kirkconnell

Craig & Kelly Kirkconnell, began operating the Bruce in the summer of 2005. Craig is a Red Seal Certified Chef with over 25 years of experience, and manages the kitchen. Kelly brings over 20 years of experience to the table herself, and runs the front of the house. In 2010, The Bruce made the change from a bar to a restaurant atmosphere, putting more focus on quality food. Subsequently, the sister company Everywhere Catering began in 2011, providing the opportunity to bring our great food to weddings and events off site.
Both Craig & Kelly enjoy the fast-paced environment of the restaurant, and are proud to be a part of the downtown Kincardine community. As community-minded people, Craig & Kelly enjoy hosting events year-round and supporting the many local groups & organizations throughout the town. Both born and raised locally, they are proud to call the beautiful town of Kincardine home.

    As the name of the place suggests, you have to try their steaks! Cooked perfectly, exactly how you want it. Casual and fun atmosphere inside. Has a great view of the harbour and lake from the back of the restaurant.

    Just held my dad's 70th birthday party there and it was awesome. great setup, very accommodating and the staff was awesome.
